Here’s some game news for you. Today with news about a Guild Wars 2, Never Winter Nights, a new game that is being launched this week and
Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2
This is a typical Japanese violence filled beat-em-up game where hoardes of baddies will come and show you their fist. For you the task to teach them all a lesson. The game has no longer a jump function as it had in its predecessor, but this has been replaced by a dodge function. It is presented as an single storyline campaign with multiple playable characters.
In Europe and America this game is coming as exclusive download-only title in the eShops’s of both PS3 and WiiU, while the Xbox360 version of the game will be as a boxed edition.
The WiiU edition is coming out by tomorrow (that is for you at 00:00 available for download, as the European German Nintendo server doesn’t allow for daytime downloads). And on Friday the game will come out on PS3 and Xbox360.
Guild Wars 2
On the Guild Wars 2 Forums Guild Wars 2 Game Director Colin Johanson, tells us about the delayed WvW patch and the planned changes and features for WvW. The patch is now planned for March. We think that this has partly to do with the fact that they want to release a proper WvW update and not a 50% done one. On the other side we think a lot more content might be coming now that the Living World system has been implemented plus that the 14th of February is coming (Valentine’s day). They haven’t mentioned anything about this world event, but there is always a possibility that we will see something of this in the game aswell.
The people behind Never Winter Nights have been busy with a new free to play MMO, named Neverwinter. Neverwinter is an MMO in the Dungeon’s and Dragon’s Forgotten Realms setting and uses, like its predecessors the third ruleset. As highlights to this game are currently the character creation and customization named and the way combat is handled. The amount of actions is limited so that player skill needs to be used. On top of that has dodging a cooldown of at least 10 seconds, so it is less likely you can get away from every fight. If you thought that this game isn’t getting anywhere, then think again. Neverwinter is having it’s first beta weekends organised. People who have bought some sort of founder pack will be guaranteed access to the three beta weekends, while people like me and you probably didn’t do that and will have to subscribe and wait to get in.
Ninja Gaiden 3 – Razor’s Edge
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, which was a WiiU exclusive title, is now going to come to PS3 and Xbox360, both as a boxed version and a download version. Tecmo Koei announced this today. The release date will be on the 2nd of April 2013
That was the news for today. Stay tuned.
