Today Nintendo brought us news about Pokemon in a new Nintendo Direct.
First Iwata told us about the long history of Pokemon (since 1996) through the different hardware and Pokemon editions. Pokemon became immensily popular, not only in Japan, but in the whole world. Pokemon is published as of today in seven different languages. This has also always caused the games to come out between a couple of months and a couple of years later after a Japanese release. But that is history now, as Nintendo has managed to find a way to overcome the challenges that localisation brings with. Nintendo will launch a new Pokemon towards the whole of America, Europe, Japan and Australia on the same time. This time Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be released for Nintendo 3DS only, featuring once more new Pokemon for you to capture, train and battle with.
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y are scheduled to release in October this year (2013).
On a sidenote we also heared today that there will be coming a new Lego game from TT Games and Marvel together, titled: Lego Marvel Super Heroes. This game is coming out this year for Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, WiiU, Xbox360, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita and PC.
