Mojang, famous of Minecraft, is coming with a lot of news lately.

First of all they are organising their next Minecon. Don’t bother ask if there are still tickets available, they are sold out by a long time already. The first batch of 2500 tickets got sold out in a mere minutes. The next 3 batches are gone too.
Mojang doesn’t allow press on the event, so we will all have to wait for the live streams coming available to get the latest news from them when the event has started. But we can wait a little, as Minecon isn’t happening before the second and third of November 2013.

Last week there was the event GamesCom and two announcements were made by Mojang:

1) Cobalt is coming for Xbox360 and XboxOne
2) Minecraft is coming to PS3, PS4 and PSVita.

(I am wondering when Mojang is planning to do the move to Nintendo’s consoles, but that could take another year or two I suppose, since it also took a while between the move from Microsoft to Sony).

While I was going to write something about recent tweets of _Jeb about supposedly upcoming changes, Mojang released a weblog on their website about exactly that. They have been working on the generator quite a bit, more variety of biomes, spreading of biomes, less big oceans, higher landscapes and more flora and fauna as well as animals. What exactly will be launched in 1.7 we don’t know yet, but we do know that they are working on the generator! Great news!

Last but not least Scrolls came with a new update called “Decay”. It includes a new pre constructed deck, six new challenges and 46 new scrolls, among many bugfixes and general look changes to the game and interface.

Good stuff! Game on!

Nintendo announcing a new 2DS?

[intro] Today Nintendo announced a new DS, the 2DS. What is this for console and why is this being launched. Today Nintendo announced a new DS, the 2DS. What is this for console and why is this being launched.

[/intro]

The 2DS is there for those who want to play all these new 3DS titles, but do not want to play on a 3DS, don’t have a 3DS or cannot see the 3D part of the 3DS, so the 2DS will be able to play all the 3DS and DS titles. The looks, from what we have seen so far, comes closer to a tablet then a classical handheld console.

We think this is specifically tailored to a certain group of the playerbase. No 3D effects for those kids still developing their eyes, no 3D effects for those who cannot handle it, or simply can’t see it. Also the form/shape of the console seems to be laying easier in your hands and from what I could see of the console sofar, the console looks more firm and robust. It will handle a smack here and there. An interesting new thing from Nintendo.

Also announced Nintendo today that they will do a price cut on new ultimate WiiU consoles.

Now we just hope for another Nintendo Direct, to clarify and backup all this sudden news.

We can soon see the return of the Super Adventure Box!!!

[/intro]

Arenanet’s Guild Wars 2 is currently still in the Queen’s Speech update and all the events that have caused it. What will happen to this story isn’t clear yet, as ArenanNet updated their event website with something totally different. The new thing added to Guild Wars 2 on the 3rd of September (following the strict every two weeks major updates schedule) is the return of the Super Adventure Box.

The Super Adventure Box was really added originally as an April’s Fool joke, but became immensively popular among the playerbase, because it was in retro style and with a lot of challenges.

Now the smart genius Azura Moto comes back with his virtual reality simulator with world 2 implemented. So from next Tuesday and onwards you will be able to do the challenges of both world 1 and world 2 and unlock all the secrets and tools with it. Also perhaps you will be able to save the princess? An extra difficulty mode has been added, called Tribulation mode. Expect lots of jumping, fighting 2D monsters and puzzling your way through the maze to the end bosses of several levels in world 2.

Rewards are in the form of more weapon skins of the missing weapon types as well as the weapons of some important bosses in the Adventure Box.

By this patch, also some other things are going to change:

– Legendary weapons will get an offensive infusion slot.
– Legendary weapons will get a stat boost and out of combat you will be able to change your stats around on this weapon.
– Most legendary weapons will get a new look / visuals.
– Magic Find stat will be removed from all items, but will be replaced by some other stat
– Magic Find will from now on be account-wide, you can influence it by using a Luck Essence
– Ascended weapons will be craftable by Weaponsmith, Artificer and Huntsman
– The crafting skill cap will be raised to 500 for the weaponcrafters.

I suppose, that there are more fixes to come, but they will not be announced until the actual patch day next Tuesday.

A new week a new video is the motto. But this time also the start of a new funny Minecraft series.

[/intro]

In this new series we show you all that went wrong or what was extremely funny during, before or under our Minecraft related recordings that we do for other series.

So you will see test recordings going wrong, things that either went wrong or seemed funny during recording. Things never shown before and totally random things you wouldn’t expect.

We laugh a lot during our recordings and it’s great when the recording button was actually on while these silly things happen!

Note: some of this content is slightly on the 18+ side.

Enjoy our very first episode of this:
